Main Dish
Simple herbs, good olive oil, and a rich balsamic reduction come together in this rustic skillet chicken. It’s an easy meal with deep flavor and honest ingredients.

Ingredients
4 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp dried thyme
⅛ tsp ground dried rosemary
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
6 tbsp balsamic reduction, or adjust to taste
Directions
In a bowl, mix olive oil, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper.
Add the chicken tenders and coat well in the herb mixture. Let sit for 15 min to absorb the flavor.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Pour the chicken and herb oil mixture into the skillet.
Cook 5–6 min per side, until dark golden and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F).
Reduce heat to low.
Pour the balsamic reduction over the cooked chicken and gently turn to coat.
Let cook on low for 1–2 min, allowing the reduction to warm and slightly thicken.
Balsamic reduction contains natural sugars and can burn quickly, so keep heat low and watch carefully.
Spoon the warm reduction from the pan over the chicken before serving.
