ABOUT US
We provide wholesome natural food that has been grown with respect for nature.

our story
For me, farming is more than a livelihood—it’s a mission. I grew up with a deep respect for the land and a love for raising animals with care and purpose. After years of working outside of farming, I felt a calling to return to these roots and build something meaningful.
I don’t trust the meat at the supermarket. I have seen what industrialization has done to the meat supply chain. It wasn’t always this way - and I know we can do better.
We are simplifying the meat supply chain - eliminating everyone except farmers and consumers. That’s how it used to be - and that’s how it can be again.
We’re building a community - where you’re not just a customer; you’re part of our extended farm family. Our common values include honesty, hard work, and a commitment to a healthier, more sustainable way of eating.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with us.

the way nature intended
Heartstone Farms was born from a desire to offer families meat they can truly trust — food that’s raised with integrity, without cutting corners, and always with the highest standards of quality and care.

our homestead
Located in the rural countryside of Maine, Heartstone Farm spans 500 acres of lush pastures surrounded by stone walls and stands of pine, maple, oak, and birch trees.
Our Regenerative Practices
We graze our cattle using rotational grazing principles. This method mimics the natural grazing habits of wild herbivores, ensuring the soil remains healthy and productive. The cattle graze small paddocks and are moved to fresh pasture daily, allowing the grass to recover and thrive. This not only builds soil organic matter but also sequesters carbon. We do not use any artificial or chemical fertilizers, only the natural manure our cattle leave behind.
Our Partner Farms
Years ago our customers started asking us if we could help them source other meat (like chicken and pork) raised naturally and locally.
At first, we started partnering with a few of our neighbors. Over the years, our network has grown. But we’ve never wavered in our standards. We won’t sell any meat to our customers unless it's good enough (and delicious enough) for our own dinner table.
We take pride in partnering with small, family-owned farms that share our commitment to quality, transparency, and humane care. Each of our partner farms is carefully vetted to meet the same high standards we uphold on our own farm.
