Sesame-Ginger Chicken Thighs

This simple marinade is a nice recipe to have in your chicken recipe rotation. So many great flavors - ginger, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil - that deliver on that "umami" flavor in Asian dishes we all crave. Sesame-Ginger Chicken Thighs

Ingredients
1 package / 4 Heartstone Farm chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on
2 tbsp sesame oil
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tsp fresh ginger; peeled and minced
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
juice of 1 lime
2 tsp black sesame seeds for garnish
2 tbsp fresh cilantro, roughly chopped for garnish
Directions
Whisk together all ingredients, apart from chicken thighs, in a mixing bowl. Add chicken thighs and turn to coat. Refrigerate for 1 hour
Preheat oven to 375°F
Arrange thighs on a rimmed baking sheet and bake until cooked through about 35-45 minutes or until the thickest part of the thigh registers at least 165°F on an instant-read thermometer
Remove from oven and arrange chicken thighs on a serving platter and sprinkle with chopped cilantro. Serve with salad, rice or your favorite side
