Crispy egg rolls stuffed with seasoned steak and melty cheese—fun, cheesy, and perfect for kids to enjoy as a handheld meal or snack.
1 lb Heartstone Farm Shaved Steak
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Sea salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Provolone cheese, cut in half
Mozzarella cheese
Egg roll wrappers
Egg yolk, for sealing
Oil for frying, or air fryer
Cook shaved steak in a pan over medium heat.
Season with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cook until browned, then set aside.
Lay one egg roll wrapper like a diamond (corner pointing toward you).
Place provolone (cut in half) slightly above the bottom corner.
Add about 3 to 4 tablespoons of steak on top.
Add a small amount of mozzarella.
(Keep filling centered and in a tight line.)
Lightly brush egg yolk along all edges and corners of the wrapper.
Fold the bottom corner up over the filling and tuck tight.
Fold in the left and right sides.
Roll tightly toward the top corner and press to seal.
Deep Fry: About 350°F oil until golden brown.
Air Fry: About 375°F until crispy, flipping halfway through.
