Ingredients

Protein Choices - Pick your favorite protein

Spice Mix

1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp brown sugar
1½ tsp dried minced onion
¾ tsp salt
½ tsp oregano
¼ tsp black pepper

Directions

Mix the spices: In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until evenly blended.
Brown your meat: Cook 1 lb of ground beef, chicken, turkey, or pork in a skillet over medium heat.
Drain excess fat: Tilt the pan or spoon out any grease for a leaner, flavorful filling.
Add seasoning: Sprinkle the spice mix over the meat.
Simmer with water: Add ⅓ cup water, stir, and let simmer 5–10 minutes until the meat is coated and sauce is thickened.
Serve: Spoon into tortillas, top with your favorite fixings, and enjoy!
