These turkey apple bacon breakfast meatballs are a delicious and healthy option for breakfast. They are easy to make and packed with flavor from the combination of turkey, bacon, and fresh ingredients.

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 4 slices pork bacon
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- ½ cup Gala, Red Delicious, or Honeycrisp apple, peeled and finely diced
- ⅓ cup white or yellow onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
- 1 large egg
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Cook the pork bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Once cooled, chop into small pieces.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped bacon, rosemary, apple, onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, thyme, coconut aminos, and egg. Mix until evenly combined.
- The turkey mixture will be naturally soft and sticky. If you'd like to make it easier to handle, refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes before shaping. Otherwise, you can form the meatballs right away.
- Use your hands to shape the mixture into approximately 24 meatballs, each about 1¼ to 1½ inches in diameter.
- Arrange the meatballs in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Cooking time may vary depending on the size of the meatballs and your oven.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm!
