I've been really enjoying coming up with new ways to prepare our Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon - and so many of the recipes - including this one - are so easy and quick - but fun too.

Cook Mode

salmon bites with maple salmon and creamy drizzle

Ingredients

2 portions Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon (6-8 oz each)
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper
t tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp chopped parsley

Creamy Dijon Drizzle

⅓ cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp black pepper

Directions

Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces
Mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic powder and pepper together
Coat the salmon bites with the maple syrup mixture
Sear the coated salmon bites in olive oil until caramelized, using a tong to turn them over so they do not burn - approximately 2 minutes each side
Combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice and pepper for the drizzle
Plate the salmon bites and tip with Dijon drizzle
Garnish with parsley
