The secret to the Keto diet is grass fed beef
A couple of months ago, I decided I needed to lose a few pounds (like 15). So I tried out the Keto diet. (Surely by now you’ve heard of it!)
At first, it didn’t work. But then my son came to visit and he told me why it wasn’t working. It’s because the Keto diet is an all-in sort of thing. I was “kinda” doing it. “Kinda” means I was cutting down on my carbs, but I wasn’t below the carb level recommended for the Keto diet. I was cheating, I guess.
My son set me straight. “It works when you do it right,” he told me. So. I stopped eating carbs (with the exception of a teaspoon of sugar in my coffee in the morning and vegetables with dinner at night). i’ve treated myself to wine with dinner maybe once a week, but I have absolutely cut out desserts and the potato chips I was always snacking on.
And, well, the Keto kicked in. I started dropping the pounds (10 so far in a month) and, as you’ll often hear, I feel better with more energy and a clearer head.
The problem with lots of diets is that the food you get to eat is bland or just plain bad.
With Keto I think one key to success can be grass fed beef and other pasture raised meats. Because the flavor of grass fed beef is so good, it’s far easier to stick to the diet. In fact, Keto proponents will often say it’s not a temporary diet but a new way of eating.
More and more of our customers are sharing with me their stories of switching to Keto and grass fed beef at the same time. And their stories are consistently about how much better they feel.
With all of the other health benefits of grass fed beef, it’s clear that switching to Keto and grass fed beef can have significant health benefits on many fronts. And you’ll feel better - I can vouch for that.
