We're excited to introduce our newest comfort food from our farm kitchen:  Farmhouse Chili, Chicken Vegetable with Rice soup and Tomato Lentil with Italian Sausage soup.

Heat and serve: Soups and chili come in 1 lb pouches, pre-cooked. 2 servings per pouch.

Our soups and chili are made in small batches by the artisans at Hurricane Soups in Greene, Maine. For the past few months we've worked hand-in-hand with owner Phil Wilbur and his family to come up with the perfect recipes.

Our Chicken Vegetable with Rice soup is a wholesome blend, brimming with tender chunks of chicken, fresh vegetables, and perfectly cooked rice. It's the kind of soup that reminds you of the homemade meals from your childhood, with every ingredient carefully selected for its quality and flavor.

Our Tomato Lentil with Italian Sausage soup is a rich, savory delight, featuring robust lentils, juicy tomatoes, and our flavorful Italian sausage that adds a little zing to every spoonful. It's the kind of soup that warms you from the inside out, perfect for those chilly evenings or lazy weekend afternoons.

Our Farmhouse Chili has just enough of a kick, but not too much. With plenty of our 5-star 100% grass-fed ground beef (no skimping!).

All of the soups are frozen (to lock in the flavor) and come in 1-lb pouch - good for 1-2 servings

These soups are crafted by the skilled artisans at Hurricane Soups in Greene, Maine. Phil Wilbur and his family, our trusted partners, ensure each batch is made with the utmost care and the finest ingredients. Our collaboration has once again borne fruit - or rather, soup - that we're proud to share with you.

EASY TO PREPARE! Because we know life gets busy, we've made these soups as convenient as our chili. Just heat the frozen (or refrigerator-thawed) pouch in hot water (190F - not boiling) for 8-9 minutes, and you've got a meal that tastes like it's been simmering on the stove for hours. Add your personal touch with some freshly baked bread or a sprinkle of herbs, and dinner is served!

    • INGREDIENTS FOR The Chicken Vegetable Rice Soup: water, white chicken meat, celery, carrots, and onions. The soup is enriched with chicken stock, which includes chicken meat, chicken juices, salt, potato flour, various flavorings, carrot powder, and turmeric for additional taste. The rice used in the soup is enriched with essential nutrients such as iron, thiamin mononitrate, and folic acid. For seasoning, the soup contains a blend of herbs and spices including thyme, cinnamon, and a classic Italian seasoning mix made up of marjoram, folate, rosemary, savory, sage, oregano, and basil.
    • INGREDIENTS FOR The Farmhouse Beef Chili: ground beef and pinto beans, with the beans being preserved with water, salt, calcium chloride, and calcium disodium EDTA to maintain color. The rich tomato sauce is crafted from tomato concentrate (water, tomato paste), salt, onion powder, garlic powder, citric acid, and natural flavors. The chili is further enhanced with crushed tomatoes (tomatoes, tomato puree, salt, citric acid), onions, green peppers, and red peppers. For a deep, robust flavor, the seasoning mix includes salt, ancho chili pepper, and other spices, complemented by dehydrated garlic, dehydrated red and green bell peppers, dehydrated onion, sugar, red pepper, spice extractives, jalapenos, and Worcestershire sauce (distilled white vinegar, anchovies, garlic, molasses, onions, salt, sugar, water, chili pepper extract, cloves, natural flavorings, tamarind extract). The chili is finished with granulated garlic, salt (which includes fish [anchovies] in Worcestershire sauce), and no artificial flavors.
    • INGREDIENTS FOR The Tomato Lentil with Sausage Soup: water, ground pork, and crushed tomatoes to create its base. It incorporates a medley of vegetables including carrots, green peppers, and onions. Lentils are added for their texture and nutritional value. The soup's rich flavor is built upon a foundation of chicken stock, which consists of chicken meat including chicken juices, salt, potato flour, and carrot powder, which is spiced with flavourings and turmeric. The seasoning is rounded out with salt, granulated garlic, a mix of spices, fennel, and parsley to complete the soup's profile.

    We carefully pack your order so it arrives in perfect condition at your front door. We use dry ice and compostable insulation to keep your order frozen and safe on its trip from our farm to your table.

    • Your meat is shipped frozen
    • We ship Monday-Thursday.
    • New England orders arrive the next day. Outside New England, orders arrive the second day.
    • You will receive an email with your tracking number when your order ships 
    • Insulated shipping boxes (compostable)  insure your meat arrives cold/frozen
    • We use dry ice and ice blankets

    Cooking Tips

    KEEP FROZEN. THAW UNDER REFRIGERATION IMMEDIATELY BEFORE USE.

    HEAT IN BAG (RECOMMENDED):

    • Place bag in hot water (190°F) for 8-9 minutes until soup reaches an internal temp of 165°F. Do not boil.
    • Carefully remove bag from water, cut open with scissors and serve.

    MICROWAVE/STOVETOP:

    • Empty soup into a heavy saucepan or microwave-safe bowl. Do not microwave in pouch.
    • Stirring occasionally, heat soup until it reaches an internal temp of 165°F and serve.

    CAUTION: CONTENTS MAY BE HOT!
