Our Grass Fed Grass Finished Steak Burgers have a little bit "extra" - which makes them more-juicy, more-delicious, and more-loved. Plus - they're extra big patties - 6 oz (no wimpy quarter-pounders!).

It starts with the blend  -  we include sirloin, chuck and brisket to give these burgers even more flavor. The beef is dry aged for 14-days to maximize flavor.

100% Grass-Fed

Our cattle only eat grass. In the growing season, they feed on the pastures of our 500 acre farm. In the winter, they eat the hay (grass) we harvested from our fields in the summer.

Beware of supermarket beef labeled "grass fed." Most factory-farmed, supermarket beef is fed grain (mainly corn) in the last few months before slaughter (even when it’s labeled “grass-fed”). While grain will fatten cattle up quickly, it can also make them sick because grains are not their natural feed.

That's why knowing the farmer who raised your meat is so important.

When we say 100% grass fed we mean 100%.



Heartstone Farm 100% Grass-fed Ground Beef is leaner and has a healthier fat profile than conventionally-raised beef. Grass-fed beef is also higher in omega-3 fatty acids, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and other important nutrients. Additionally, our cattle are raised without the use of hormones or antibiotics, making it a healthier and more sustainable choice.

Conventional ground beef typically comes from cows that are raised on grain and feedlots. These cows may be given hormones and antibiotics to speed up growth and prevent disease. In contrast, Heartstone Farm 100% Grass-fed Ground Beef comes from cows that are raised on a 100% grass-fed diet and are not given hormones or antibiotics.

Our ground beef averages 85/15 fat content. But It's important to recognize the difference between fat in grass fed beef and fat in factory-farmed grain-fed beef. Grass fed beef has a lot more omega-3 fatty acids and CLA, which are both linked to health benefits.

Our beef tends to be a bit more expensive than conventional beef, but we believe that the benefits are well worth it. Our stew meat is not only more nutritious, but it's also raised sustainably and humanely on our own farm.
